Privacy policy
Last updated 24 October 2026
Digdarsan Live is a Windows app for streaming live cricket scores with your own commentary to YouTube and Facebook. It is run by Digdarsan Live (Nepal). This policy explains what the app and this website collect, why, where it's kept, and how you can have it deleted. Questions: support@example.com.
1. Your Digdarsan Live account
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We use them to create your account, to let the Digdarsan Live team approve (or turn off) your access, and to show who you are in the app. We also store your account's role and whether it's approved.
2. What the app records while you use it
To run the service, keep it working and help streamers when something goes wrong, the app sends us:
- A check-in about once a minute while the app is open: that it's running, the app version and Windows version, and — while you're live — which platforms you're streaming to, the stream title and match, and since when.
- An activity log: signing in and out, opening the app, choosing a match, going live and ending (where, the stream title, how long), and failures (with the error message).
We do not record your passwords, keys, sign-in tokens, your microphone or your viewers' comments.
3. YouTube (Google)
If you connect YouTube, you sign in with your own Google account and channel. The app uses the YouTube API to create, start and end your live broadcasts, set their title, description, privacy and thumbnail, read your live chat and viewer numbers, and post and close polls in your chat — only when you ask it to. Your YouTube sign-in is stored only on your computer; it is not sent to us. YouTube data shown in the app (your channel, chat messages, viewer numbers) is used only to show it to you and, when you choose, on your stream.
Digdarsan Live's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By using YouTube features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's use of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove Digdarsan Live's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
4. Facebook (Meta)
If you connect Facebook, you sign in with your own Facebook account. The app uses it to list the Pages you can stream to, create and end live videos on the Page (or profile) you choose, and read your live video's comments and polls. To finish signing in, the one-time sign-in code goes through our server, which returns your sign-in to your app and does not keep it. Your Facebook sign-in is then stored only on your computer. You can remove Digdarsan Live at any time in Facebook → Settings → Apps and websites. See also how to delete your data.
5. Your microphone and recordings
Your commentary goes only to the platforms you stream to. If you turn on “Save a copy”, the recording is saved on your own computer and never uploaded by us.
6. Who processes the data
| Service | What for |
|---|---|
| Supabase (servers in Mumbai, India) | Accounts, approvals, check-ins and the activity log; the Facebook sign-in step |
| Sign-in with Google, and YouTube when you connect it | |
| Meta | Facebook, when you connect it |
| Our own server | Downloads, app updates, live scores and scoreboard designs |
| Vercel | Hosting a copy of this website |
| Cricket data providers | Live scores (no personal data is sent to them) |
We don't sell or rent personal data, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
7. How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your account and activity log while your account exists. Ask us at any time and we delete your account and everything linked to it within 30 days — see Delete your data. Settings, sign-ins and recordings on your computer are removed when you sign out of the platforms in the app or uninstall it and delete its data folder.
8. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). In our database, each person can see only their own account; only the Digdarsan Live team can see all accounts and the activity log.
9. Children
Digdarsan Live is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
10. This website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or trackers. Our host may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
When you download the app or an update, our server records the time, the download code (or, for an update, your account), the version, your IP address and the approximate place it points to (country, region and city, worked out on our own server from a database of IP addresses, without sending your address anywhere). We use this to know who has the app and to stop misuse of download codes. IP addresses are deleted after 90 days; the rest is kept like the activity log.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll tell you in the app.
